Here is issue no.1 of the absolute classic comic Battle. This is another comic i have very fond memories and still pick up occasional back issues in the comic and book exchange in sunny London town.Anyway this one began in march 1975 and would continue in its initial incarnation and then had the first of its several mergers.This first merger was with the comic Valiant in October of 76. This comic was created by Pat Mills and John Wagner and contained classic stories like Rat Pack,Darkies Mob,The unforgettable Charleys War,Johnny Red and Bootneck Boy among many other greats.
